  15. I purchased a hand scanner from a local computer supply dealer to try it out
  16. on my A3000.  (Got an excellent deal - $12.50 US)  I figure that if I can't
  17. make it work on the A3000, it can be used on a Macintosh at my son's school.

  19. The scanner is a SCSI interface scanner.  I played around with it yesterday
  20. and it is recognized by the SCSI device.  (I used a SCSI Inquire utility to
  21. see if it was talking)

  23. What I have found on the aminet is a couple SCSI scanner drivers (Scantek and
  24. Multi-Scan).  I downloaded them just to look at them.  The Multi-Scan is for
  25. AGA Amigas, so I didn't play with that app.  The Scantek is for a flatbed
  26. scanner.  The program recognizes the scanner, but due to the differences in
  27. the hand vs/ flatbed scanner, I could not get it the even think about working.

  29. If anyone knows of other sites I can check for drivers or have any ideas,
  30. please let me know.
